Supermodel Tasha lashes out at Madonna, Angelina for adopting African kids

Madonna and Angelina Jolie have ended up at the striking end of Mozambique-born model Tasha da Vasconcelos as the latter slammed the celebrities for adopting African kids. She expressed her anger over taking away the children, saying they are"ripping the heart out of Africa." Wealthy foreigners “throwing money” at Africa were also criticised by the model who is gettingprepared to open a new eye clinic in Malawi with her charitable foundation, Amor, De Vasconcelos. She shared her thought that instead of donating money, interested wealthy personalities should do groundwork along with the systems of the nation.

Being a refugee since her childhood she understands the pain very well and left behind her own family & land she was born. She also added that if anyone really wants to help Africans, they should help them remaining inside the country. She also stated that one has to come in contact with the real African life to understand them and then only one could help in further development works.

She added more, "This is why I do not advocate adoption out of Africa to a Hollywood lifestyle, as Madonna and Angelina Jolie have done.” Recently the 46-year-old supermodel was made honorary ambassadorfor the G8 to bridge the gap between Europe and Africa.
