Suri Cruise enrolled in expensive private school

After many years of home schooling, now Suri Cruise, daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, will study at a $40,000-a-year private school here. The six-year-old child celebrity has been enrolled in a new school that will be opening in the city later this year. According to a close source, ''Katie has eagerly been telling Suri all about the lunchrooms, basketball courts and different activities Avenues offers. Suri's really excited about it.'' The source told Life & Style magazine, the school, is a part of a series of world schools that is scheduled to open in China, India, Africa and Europe, besides in many US cities, is just a few blocks from Katies home in Chelsea and it has a rooftop playground, including full-size basketball and volleyball courts.
