Sylvester Stallone on-board for Ratchet & Clank

Sylvester Stallone, Paul Giamatti, John Goodman, Bella Thorne and Rosario Dawson will lend their voices to Ratchet & Clank. The movie is CG-animated adaptation of the popular video game series from Sony Playstaion.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film from Blockade Entertainment and Rainmaker Entertainment will also feature original franchise voice actors James Arnold Taylor as Ratchet, David Kaye as Clank, Armin Shimerman as Nefarious and Jim Ward as Captain Qwark.

Insomniac's Ryan Schneider commented, "The game, out Spring 2016, re-tells the origin story that ties in closely and expands upon the movie’s narrative. It also features several new levels along with re-imagined classic locales like Metropolis, brand new weapons and completely redone visuals made possible by the power of the PlayStation 4."

Insomniac Games writer TJ Fixman wrote the original draft of the screenplay. The film is directed by TMNT’s Kevin Munroe and co-directed by Jericca Cleland.  The movie will launch in the U.S. on April 29th, 2016 while the game does not currently have a confirmed date but will be released in spring.
