    Taraji P Henson Tapped To Star In ‘What Men Want’

    Paramount Players is hoping to fast track ‘What Men Want’, a remake of the Paramount comedy ‘What Women Want’. And we hear that it has roped in Empire actress Taraji P Henson to play the lead role. Taraji will essay the role of a female sports agent who is constantly boxed out by her male colleagues. When she acquires the power to hear men’s thoughts, she starts to shift the paradigm to her own advantage as she races to sign the NBA's next superstar.



    The original film was directed by Nancy Meyers and starred Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt in the lead role. Mel played the role of a New York ad executive Nick Marshall, who after a freak accident gains the power of read minds of women to know what they are thinking of him. He falls in love with Helen Hunt.



    ‘What Men Want’ will be produced by Will Packer, who previously worked with Henson in ‘No Good Deed’, and James Lopez, while Henson will serve as the executive producer. The film will hit theatres on January 11, 2019. Taraji also has Tyler Perry’s ‘Acrimony’ and the Screen Gems action movie ‘Proud Mary’ in her kitty.
