Tom Holland Teases Spider-Man One Year Till Release

Yesterday marked exactly one year to the release of ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’, which is July 7, 2017. To commemorate this day, actor Tom Holland released a set photo of him in costume on his Instagram page. This will be the second time the young actor plays the web slinger after his appearance in ‘Captain America: Civil War’.

Along with the photo, the actor posted, “1 Year until #spidermanhomecoming hits theaters, are you ready…thought you would like to see a little selfie I took earlier”. The selfie shows Spider-Man somewhere high above the crew, making his web shooting hand sign. The 20-year-old actor seems quite excited to be playing the role of Spider-Man.

During the film’s title announcement at CinemaCon, Tom said, “It really is a homecoming, because, throughout the movie, Peter is trying to find out who he is and where he belongs in this world”. 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' is being directed by Jon Watts. The cast includes Robert Downey Jr., Marisa Tomei, Martin Starr and Zendaya, along with others.
