Variety has reported that Person of Interest actor Winston Duke has been roped in for the upcoming Marvel flick ‘Black Panther’. He will be playing the role of M’Baku a.k.a Man-Ape in the film. If the comics are followed, M’Baku will be a villain who is aiming for the Wakandan throne.

After making his debut as Black Panther in ‘Captain America: Civil War’, Chadwick Boseman will reprise his role as the titular hero. He will share screen space with Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Michael B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger and Danai Gurira as Okoye. Erik is also a villain in the Black Panther comic universe while Nakia is a former member of Wakanda’s Dora Milaje.

Ryan Coogler is directing the flick from a script penned by Joe Robert Cole and himself. The project will be produced by Marvel President Kevin Feige. ‘Black Panther’ will be released on February 16, 2018. Fans will have to wait for quite some time to get a sneak peak of the highly anticipated flick as it will start shooting from January next year.
