Writing Team Working On Sherlock Holmes 3 Script

While the shooting for Sherlock Holmes 3 won’t start anytime soon, there is still some good news for the fans that have been waiting for a sequel. Variety has reported that Warner Bros. Pictures, Village Roadshow and Team Downey have formed a team of writers to work on the script. The team comprises of Geneva Dworet-Robertson, Justin Malen, Gary Whitta, Kieran Fitzgerald and Nicole Perlman.

Robert Downey Jr. will be reprising his role as the detective. He is currently busy with the shooting of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and thus cannot shell out time for the Sherlock Holmes sequel. In the upcoming project, Jude Law will be playing Holmes’ trusted sidekick, John Watson. Guy Ritchie will once again take the director’s chair after helming the previous two parts.

The original Sherlock Holmes was released in 2009 and got a majorly positive response. The second part, titled ‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows’, hit theatres in 2011 and was also appreciated by the audiences. Currently, there is no release date for the third part.
