X-Men: Apocalypse Details Released

Entertainment Weekly has taken the cover off the forthcoming X-Men: Apocalypse movie, revealing some images that provide information on the flick. The images show the new villain ‘Apocalypse’ in his attire, played by Oscar Isaac, along with Magneto (Michael Fassbender) and Psylocke (Olivia Munn). Other images provide glimpses of the new characters and some old ones.

Director Bryan Singer said, “It’s a chaotic world of conflict and war and destruction. It’s one giant civilization that now requires one giant culling. That’s why he needs ­special assistants in this process”. The crew and some sets are also shown in the images. The movie will have Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, and Nicholas Hoult as the lead characters.

James McAvoy, Jennifer and Nicholas will be reprising their roles as, Professor Charles Xavier, Mystique and Beast. Evan Peters, Lucas Till and Rose Byrne will also be returning as Quicksilver, Havok and Moira MacTaggert. The new additions to cast will be Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Ben Hardy as Angel, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, Olivia Munn as Psylocke and Lana Condor as Jubilee. X-Men: Apocalypse will be released on May 27 next year.
