Aru Gowda: Hard Work Is Important, So Is Smart Work

Aru Gowda: Hard Work Is Important, So Is Smart Work

We know that Aru Gowda’s passion is acting but the actor hasn’t let his passion blind him. At an early stage, the actor realised that if he wants to star in quality films, work on his look and lead a certain lifestyle, then he would have to depend on more than just films. He shared his opinion on how an actor should do things to survive in the industry and his future plans.

The actor said, “Actors get paid well only once they make a name for themselves. People who get into films rely solely on that for their bread and butter. But even if you do 1-2 films a year, it’s not enough to sustain your monthly expenses, such as rent and other bills. And actors need to look good and stay in shape; going to the gym, dieting and taking care of your looks, all costs money. This is why my friends and I decided to turn entrepreneurs together. We started off with a beer café and a restaurant in Bengaluru, and we will launch our own production house next month”.

He signs off by saying, “The one thing that I have learnt is that it is important to work hard, but it is equally important to work smart”. Notably, Aru has completed shooting for three films apart from the film with Suni, which should go on floors in September-October. He has an untitled film with Sheethal Shetty and a yet-to-be-titled film with director Ananth Shine.
