Duniya Vijay Gets New Tattoo For Mother, Fans

Duniya Vijay has got a new tattoo, which is garnering a lot of attention lately. The Sandalwood star has got Kannada words ‘Avva’ (which means mother) and ‘Abhimani’ (which means fan) inked on his skin. Reportedly tattoo artist Darshan had spent nearly two hours on it.

His children along with the cast and the crew of his upcoming film ‘Maasti Gudi’ had been present during the procedure. Even after suffering from immense pain, Duniya Vijay continued with the shoot of the movie. “I have fever, but I didn't want to postpone the shoot. I managed to complete it”, he said.

Vijay explained why he got ‘Abhimani’ tattooed on skin and said, “Of late, many of my fans have been getting my face tattooed. They go through pain to get it inked. So when I was wondering how to reciprocate to their love, the idea struck me”. He added, “This is a gesture of my love in return for theirs, something I will always treasure. Like my mother, they have always showered me with a lot of love. So for me, both are equally important. That's what the tattoo indicates”.
