Karunya Ram: Audiences Enjoy Watching A Lot More Within The Same Time Frame

In earlier days, actors want to be the only hero of their films. But over time, a new change has taken place.  Today, the audience considers the plot and the story more than the cast or who is starring in the film. It does not mean the cast is not important but the story remains the main hero and this is what Karunya Ram thinks.

 The actress got candid and shared her views on the same. She said, “Initially, I was looking at working in a maximum of one or two films a year. I would be extremely choosy and I would not take up roles that did not tick a list of my own set of criteria for signing a film. Now, things are different. There are so many films with multi-starrers. In addition to the fact that the stories being written demand that many actors, I feel even the audiences enjoy watching a lot more within the same time frame”.

She has now changed the way she takes up films. She continued, “Our audiences are loving them and we actors too are totally enjoying working in them. In fact, my next one is an untitled horror-comedy that stars just about any and every comedian you can think of from the Kannada film industry. The film also stars Sruthi Hariharan and I hear the team is creating a fab set for a special song I am to feature in”.

The actress has good films in her kitty. Karunya is all set for a suspense thriller called Rana Bhoomi and yet another multi-starrer — Café Garage.  She also has signings in other languages such as Telugu and Tamil.
