Madarangi Krishna Roped In For ‘Chandralekha Returns’

Madarangi Krishna seems to be on signing spree. After ‘Huccha 2’ and ‘John Jani Janardhan’, the actor has signed up for the sequel of ‘Chandralekha’. About the next instalment, which has been titled ‘Chandralekha Returns’, the actor told TOI, “While Chandralekha was a remake, this time around, this is a straight subject. The original film didn't have a sequel. This is a subject penned by Omprakash Rao”.

He added, “The film has Milana Nagaraj opposite me. The comic actors of the original — Sadhu Kokila, Nagashekar and Prashanth Siddhi — will return in the sequel, with director Omprakash also joining them”. The original horror-comedy film had released in 2014.

Meanwhile the actor is busy shooting for Huccha 2, about which he said, “Like Huccha, this film is a remake as well. We are adapting the Tamil film Raam for Kannada audiences”. The shooting of ‘Chandralekha Returns’ will start after Krishna completes shooting for ‘John Jani Janardhan’.
