    Manvitha Harish, who had stepped her foot into the industry with her first Kannada film Kendasampige directed by Suri recently, has a few upcoming releases this year. The actress changed her name from Shwetha Kamat to Manvitha Harish after becoming an actress. In a recent interview, the actress revealed her role in Tagaru and her aspirations as she gets candid working with Shivanna.



    The actress said, “I play a current generation girl who thinks life has no boundaries. All she wants is freedom, and music is her religion, she wants to hangout with friends, travel, meet new people and doesn’t want to be emotionally attached to anyone”. She also revealed that her costumes were designed by a 70-year-old Russian woman, who is settled in Goa. Talking about her co-star Shivanna, she said that it was a learning experience for her.



    “He is a very humble person. He is also 100 movies old, whereas I’m just one film old! He was really encouraging, honest, correcting my mistakes and helping me improvise on my lines, also teaching me acting techniques”, said the actress. The young actress further revealed that she would love to portray Kangana Ranaut ’s characters in Queen and Tanu Weds Manu and is also keen on playing historical characters.
