Nikhil Kumar's Seetharama Kalyana Is Like The Films His Father Is Known For
Nikhil Kumar is about to finish the filming of his second film as an actor — Seetharama Kalyana which is directed by A Harsha. The youngster with his team is currently filming in Ooty. The team has almost 15 more days to complete the shooting of the film.
The actor reveals, “We have shot for 100 days so far. It has shaped up well. The response to the teaser is a testimony to that. We have 15 days of shoot left and then we plan on releasing the trailer followed by the release of the film”. The actor is also making sure that the film’s release doesn’t clash with any of the other big releases that are lined up.
Talking about it, he said, “We have three-four big releases lined up, so we are talking to all the producers to avoid any clash. It is important that we do not hinder the commercial prospects of any of the films. We need to survive together. We are looking at some time around October or November as of now”. The subject of Seetharama Kalyana is more like the films that HD Kumaraswamy is known for. “When my father produced movies like Chandra Chakori and Suryavamsha, there was a kind of nativity that was presented that we have brought in. It has been nearly 10-15 years since we have seen films like that. We are trying to give a good family entertainer,” explains Nikhil. Well, Seetharama Kalyana will be dubbed in Telugu and released too.
