Renowned painter B.K.S. Varma’s son Pradeep Varma is all set to make his directorial debut with ‘Urvi’ and show the world his artistic flair. For the second schedule of the film, the famous Bhoot Bangala in Tavarekere has been transformed into Swargada Mane (House of Heaven). It took 16 days for art director Babu Khan to turn Pradeep’s ideas into reality. Rs. 16 lakhs have been spent on the same.

“A twist in the film that we shot in the first schedule takes place here. And the house becomes a character, so it was necessary to bring in that artistic touch. All the works were subject-related. We called the house Swargada Mane because its original name did not go well with our film’s title and story”, said Pradeep.

The first schedule of the film has already been shot with Shweta Pandit, Shraddha Srinath, Jhanvi, Bhavani Prakash and Achyuth Kumar. Now the makers are moving forward to another schedule. “Shruti Hariharan will shoot for major portions in the next schedule, starting March 28, in Bengaluru and Mangaluru”, added Pradeep.
