Rachita Ram To Play Cop In Her Next

According to reports, actress Rachita Ram had recently worked with RJ-turned-filmmaker Mayuraa Raghavendra in his first short film Rishabhapriya. And latest we hear that the duo is all set to collaborate on a project with Mayuraa, who is making his first feature film.

The film is said to star Rachita in the lead role, who said, “This is my first female-oriented film and I am thrilled to play a cop in it. I won't be seen in a uniform, though. Instead, I will be in mufti — mostly linen shirts and jeans. The treatment will be akin to Rani Mukerji 's character in Mardaani”.

 She further said, “The film has a very nice message. We will make our first formal announcement in mid-January and plan to go on floors by the end of the month or early February”. It is to be seen if the actress can outshine her performance in the flick.
