Real Star Upendra Turns 48 Today

Kannada superstar Upendra turns 48 today.  The Uppi star has given number of blockbusters in the Sandalwood after making his debut in ‘A’ in 1998. Nobody ever thought that a man with a hippie hairstyle, thick moustache and beard, and no qualities for appearing onscreen would turn out to be a superstar.

The actor-director has a mass following, and fans in huge numbers showed up outside his house today, just to get a glimpse of their star and to wish him a happy birthday. Adequate barricading was put up on all the lanes that lead to the house of the Super Ranga actor. Each group got its turn to meet the star himself.

Speculations are rife that Upendra, who played the role of a doctor in ‘Uppi Dada MBBS’, will now become a real doctor. According to the sources, Angkor University of Cambodia was impressed with his work in Sandalwood and will now facilitate Upendra with Doctorate. Now that is a great gift for the actor on his 48^th birthday.
