Known for bringing fresh talent to the Sandalwood, music director Arjun Janya has a star from B-town this time around. It is this Indian rocker and singer Siddharth Basrur who would be singing for Hebbuli. He has crooned in the hit Bollywood movies such as Haunted, Players and the latest Dhoni - The Untold Story. Interestingly, it will be his debut film in Kannada industry.

Siddharth specializes in punk rock and indie rock that will be seen in Sudeep’s introductory number. His voice suits the track and Siddharth is thrilled to get the part. “I am not new to Karnataka and Kannada language. I was born in the coastal belt and speak Konkani. Since I have settled in Mumbai, I am influenced by the language there. Though this will be my first song for a film, I have been in touch with singers like Vijay Prakash with whom I have work with for some jingles,” said the singer.

Siddharth said that he completely follows the instructions of Arjun and has just finished the recording of a song.  He added, “The song has a little bit of rock influence, which is exactly what the music director was looking for”. The audio of Hebbuli will be officially launched on Christmas at Devangere.
