This Actor To Play CBI Officer In Film About Rajiv Gandhi Killing

Rana Daggubati is on a signing spree and why not? After the huge reception that Baahubali got, every filmmaker wants to work with him. The actor showed his prowess with a phenomenal acting in his last outing Baahubali: The Conclusion. The film not only broke all time box-office records but brought the actor in the league of top actors.

Post Baahubali, Rana has become choosier and wants to work in quality based movies. Reportedly, the actor has been roped in for Kannada-Tamil bilingual which is based on Rajiv Gandhi assassination. The project in question, Aasphota — The Human Bomb, was announced last year by filmmaker AMR Ramesh. The latest in the front is that the film will be now made into four languages i.e. Hindi and Telugu too.

Reportedly, Rana will play CBI Officer DR Karthikeyan's character in the project. However, nothing has been confirmed as yet. As per a source, "The formal announcement should be made in a week from now, when the final modalities are worked out”.
