Upendra Rao To Helm His 50th Film

Upendra Rao is a big name in the Sandalwood industry. He is not just an actor, but he is director, producer, screenwriter, lyricist and playback singer- a complete package. Upendra made his directorial debut with Tharle Nan Maga in 1992. The movie went on to be a runaway hit and has since achieved a cult following.

After directing ten of the movies, the actor is all set to direct his 50^th movie. The Preethse actor is currently occupied with the scripting of the film. However, no official announcement has been made about the movie. Gossip mills are churning out rumours that he will make things official once he is done with the scripting work.

About his upcoming projects, the actor has just wrapped shooting for the movie Uppi Matte Hutti Baa-Inti Prema. He is also planning to work with director Manju Madavya and Shashank for his upcoming projects. On a relatd note, he last directed direct Uppi 2.
