Upendra Sprains His Ankle On The Sets Of ‘Kalpana 2’

The cast and the crew of ‘Kalpana 2’ were horrified after Upendra suffered a sprain in his ankle during the shoot. Reportedly, the team was shooting for a Kabbadi scene when the incident took place. It is said that the medical help was provided to the star immediately and he is fine now.

With a crepe bandage wrapped around his knee, Upendra decided to continue with the shoot. But apparently he was still in pain all through the while. This is for the second time that the Sandalwood star has suffered an injury on the sets of the comedy-horror sequel movie. Earlier as well, Uppi had sprained his ankle during the January schedule of the movie.

‘Kalpana 2’ is a remake of Tamil blockbuster flick, Muni 3: Kanchana 2, which is the third film in the horror comedy series. The second flick was also remade in Kannada. Titled Kalpana, the movie had Upendra playing the lead role. While the last one was directed by Rama Narayanan, Kalpana 2 is being helmed by Ananth Raj.
