    Winning The Black Lady For The Second Time Is Something Great: P Ravi Shankar

    P Ravi Shankar is a renowned name in the Kannada entertainment industry. While the actor made his acting debut with a 1979 partly black and white Telugu film Gorintaku, he got his breakthrough with 2011 Kannada action masala film Kempe Gowda that starred Sudeep as the male lead.

    Kempe Gowda fetched him Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor – Kannada. He has since then worked in over 50 films. And now the star has again won the black lady for the second time for his role in 2017 hit film College Kumar.

    Talking about his win, he said, “Winning the Black Lady for the first time is special. But winning it for the second time must mean something great. College Kumar was a role very dear to me and I am happy the Karnataka audience has accepted me with open arms”. College Kumar is a Kannada language romantic comedy film written and directed by Santhu.
