Dileep: Now I Know The Type Of Films Audience Expect From Me

Dileep is riding high with the success of his recently released film, Two Countries. The actor says that now he knows the choice of audiences for him. “Fortunately, with Two Countries becoming a hit, it's now clear to me the type of films that the audience expect from me. It shows that mass entertainers still have a market”, he stated.

He has been quoted as saying, “The reception received by Two Countries shows that mass entertainers still have a market. I am part of the entertainer wing of cinema. People tell me they go to watch my films to get away from their daily tensions”.

Dileep’s upcoming film, which is Siddique-Lal's King Liar is different from the league and is an out-and-out comedy film instead. About the flick, he said, “At its core, King Liar is a love story and not a slapstick comedy. It doesn't have any over-the-top comic scenes. It's an honest tale of a liar and the character brings out the performer in me. There are so many emotions you can play with”.
