Hareesh Peradi To Play A Communist CM

Hareesh Peradi is known for his meaty roles in Malayalam cinema. The actor has this serious mien and unique dialogue delivery which have brought him a number of outstanding scripts. He was last seen in Godha and is now back in Malayalam films through Janadhipan which is directed by debut director Thanseer MA.

The film revolves around the character played by Hareesh who plays a Kerala Chief Minister and prominent communist leader. The movie is touted to be a political thriller. On this, Hareesh said, “My character is called Kannur Vishwam. The film is about the life of this man who comes under a lot of pressure and encounters struggles in his political life. How he tackles the issues sincerely and wins hearts is the core theme. It is a strong role which brings out another face of a Kerala CM who is also a family man”.

Notably, in the movie Left Right Left, he played a leftist politician with shades of grey. But this time, a political leader who believes in communism and its principles, which is based on humanism. Moreover, the movie will have actor Vinu Mohan, Tanuja Karthik, Dinesh Panicker, Sunil Sukhada and Kottayam Pradeep in other important roles.

As said, the film’s dialogues will take the audience back to the late 90s, when power-packed movies ruled cinema. Interestingly, Hareesh Peradi will be seen playing the lead for the first time in his acting career.
