I Want To Do A Rs 200 Crore Movie Too: Asif Ali

Asif Ali, who made his acting debut with the Malayalam film Ritu, has been exercising extreme caution when it comes to selecting his characters. The actor-producer has been choosing the things wisely for the past two years. We can call it the fate of his films at the box office and how it has affected his star value as an actor that has made him reconsider.

The actor now wants to focus more as an actor in the industry. “It might sound clichéd but more than a star I want to grow as an actor. Fortunately, I have had this luck to be able to select films. While I have that option, I decided to choose versatile characters and personally I get a kick out of doing these roles,” he says.

The actor has spent a much time in the industry and has worked in over 50 films. But now he wants to do a 200 crore movie. Now, with several period films being announced, when he was asked if he is part of any such upcoming movies and he quips, “I want to do a Rs 200 crore movie too, but as of now I am not part of any”.
