Kerala was hit by a disastrous flood which has caused a lot of damage but many celebs have stood up to be Good Samaritans in this situation. One of them is Actor Tovino Thomas who was actively involved in the rescue operations at Irinjalakuda area and the relief camps around turned out to be a superhero at the time of need.

The actor is helping the people from the very starting and is still pumped up. Talking about the whole scenario, he said, “Saving lives give you a kick,” he says as he begins to narrate the eventful past few days. “It all started on August 15. I was returning from an All-India trip and while crossing Kozhikode, a doctor friend asked me to come to see a patient who wanted to meet me. It was raining cats and dogs and I sensed something unusual,” he recollects.

As per the rumours, the actor was even trolled for doing whatever he has done is for publicity. On this, Tovino says he is only taking the positive comments. However, he is upset that people are comparing him to other actors and also questioning his credibility. He even said, "I do understand why people want to put others down while praising me. I don’t need any praise. I did whatever any Malayali has done. We have all done whatever we can. There is goodness in all of us”.

Tovino joined the shoot of Lucifer on Tuesday. “Things aren’t settled. There are many who have lost all their assets and have to start from scratch. We need to support them. For that, we need to work hard. We have miles to go,” says the actor.
