Mammootty Signs His Next With Regis Antony

It seems to be a busy year for actor Mammootty. The actor has signed several films and is still in a signing mode. The latest that we have heard is that the actor has been approached by Oru Second Class Yathra director Regis Antony for his upcoming film titled Vamban.

Touted to be made on a budget of 10-15 crore, the film will be bankrolled by Sargam Kabeer. Famous stunt masters Kanal Kannan and Peter Hyne have been approached for the action sequence. According to reports, Mammootty will join the sets of Vamban by the end of October .

The film is believed to be a mass entertainer and will see Masterpiece actor in a different avatar. The makers are planning to shoot the film at various locations in Calicut district. Mammootty’s upcoming projects include Street Lights, Uncle, Peranbu, Unda, Raja 2 and Parole. Streetlights will release on January 26 and will see the actor essaying the role of a police officer. The action-drama will mark the Kollywood debut of Mohanlal 's son Pranav.
