Mammootty’s ‘Puthiya Niyamam’ To Hit Screen On January 29

Last month, Mammootty’s upcoming film with Nayantara ‘Puthiya Niyamam’ was postponed. The film was supposed to hit the screens on December 24, but because the production work was not complete at that time, the film was pushed back. The film finally has a new release date.

According to reports, the thriller film will be released by the makers on January 29. The A. K. Sajan directorial took a long time to wrap up the post-production activities. The director has also scripted the flick which has been bankrolled by P. Venugopal and Geo Abraham under VG Films International.

The film will showcase an inter-caste couple, Advocate Louis Pothan and Vasuki Iyer, played by Mammootty and Nayantara. Reports suggest that the director was earlier considering Renji Panicker and Muthumani to play the lead couple in the film. The director has earlier worked with the Pathemari actor in ‘Dhruvam’, which turned out to be a blockbuster.
