Manju Warrier Wishes To Play A Baddie In Future

Manju Warrier is no doubt one of the most talented actresses of Mollywood. She started off her career in Malayalam film industry with the movie Sakshyam and has since then done many powerful roles. She made her much awaited comeback with Rosshan Andrrews' How Old Are You in 2014.

Manju’s last release was Villain where she worked alongside Mohanlal , Vishal and others. In a shocking turn of events, the actress has said something which has surprised everyone. Recently, versatile actress said that she wishes to play the role of a baddie in a film. She also said that she is looking for a role where audience will see her in a negative avatar.

So does that mean that we will get to see her in a negative role in future? Though the actress has divorced from her husband actor Dileep, but said that she has always been happy whether in marriage or outside. She said, "I have never tried to adjust with something. In the initial days of my career, when days were full, I was happy as well. For me, this is a re-birth. I will never rate my life according to the success of my films. The Women's Collective in Cinema aims to address the problems faced by women in cinema. Although I haven't faced such issues, I know those who have.”

Manju is currently shooting for VA Shrikumar Menon directorial Odiyan which will have Mohanlal in the lead role. She also has Poomaram and biopic Aami, where she will essay the role of poet Kamala Surayya, in her kitty.
