    Mimicry Artist, Actor Sagar Shiyas Is No More

    The Mollywood comedy actor and mimicry artist, Sagar Shiyas, passed away at 8.30 am on August 11. He was under treatment for kidney problems from past ten days at Tata hospital in Chottanikkara, Ernakulam. It is informed that he died due to kidney failure.

    Shiyas was a member of the Kalabhavan mimicry troupe during his prime. His prominent movie performances were in ‘Manjadikuru’, ‘Bangalore Days’, ‘Junior Mandrake’ and ‘Kannadikadavathu’. The artist was popular through his mimicry item imitating superstar Rajinikanth.

    Now, he is survived by wife Shiny and three children, including two daughters, Aaliya and Amaana and son, Ajilm. Many actors have posted on Facebook that Sagar Shiyas death news is shocking. Sagar Shiyas was serving the mimicry industry from past 25 years. He last appeared in Nadhirshah directed ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’.
