Yes, you heard that right! The popular Mollywood actor, Mohanlal , will be seen playing E Sreedharan in an upcoming movie. Let’s find more about his role and the film.

According to reports, the Oppam actor is set to play Metro Man E Sreedharan in an upcoming flick, Arabikadalinte Rani. Co-directed by M Padmakumar and scriptwriter-turned-filmmaker S Suresh Babu, the film has has Rima Kallingal and Anoop Menon in the lead roles. However, Mohanlal’s cast in the film remains shrouded in the mystery of the rumours.

While talking about the film, Suresh Babu said, “The story follows the life of Lathika, a textile salesgirl, who is based in Thrippunithura. Because of the metro work, she had to vacate her home and shift to Aluva. The crux of the film is about her attempts to meet her inspiration, the Metro Man, who had spearheaded the project.”

There are reports that the director of the film also mentioned that the character will be called as E Madhavan instead of E Sreedharan in the film. Though, it has been rumoured that Mohanlal will star as a metro man in the film, there is no official confirmation yet. Stay tuned for more updates on the film.
