'Pokkiriraja' Sequel To Start Filming By August
Rumours of Mammootty's mass entertainer Pokkiriraja’s sequel has been doing rounds on the internet for quite some time now, and now as per the latest updates, the big budget project is all set to go on floors by August. Mammootty will be starring in the second part as well and it is titled Raja 2. The movie will be a full-fledged action-filled family entertainer.
Released in 2010 and 'Pokkiriraja' was directed by Vysakh. Prithviraj, Shriya Sharan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Siddique and Salim Kumar were seen playing lead roles in the movie. As per reports, Prithviraj would not be a part of the film and Mammootty will have two heroines. Notably, the sequel is scripted by Udayakrishna who scripted the first film also.
Vysakh has already stated that the sequel will not be a continuation of the first part, instead will concentrate on the character Raja played by Mammootty. Apart from Mammootty, a leading young actor is also rumoured to play an important role in the sequel. Other than this, Mammootty has signed to essay roles in second parts of movies - Big B and Kottayam Kunjachan.
