Rahman to Compose Background Score for Priyan’s Next

Tinsel Town is abuzz with the news of Priyadarshan's upcoming content driven movie on AIDS which will have AR Rahman's music in it.However, Director Vijay, who is closely associated with the project, has said that nothing has been decided yet as far as the music is concerned. The film will release on August 10.

The 36-year-old director said during an interview to TNN, "It's a dream project of my Guru Priyadarshan and we are all set to make the movie on par with the international standards. Prakash Raj and Sriya Reddy are doing important roles and we have recently added actor Ashok Selvan of Thegidi fame into the star cast. Currently, Priyadarshan sir is busy with the movie's pre-production work. It has been decided that he will showcase the movie to AR Rahman sir after it is completely shot and if he likes it, he will consider scoring the background music for the movie".

Priyadarshan has roped in Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman for the background score of the much anticipated film. Priyadarshan and AR Rahman have worked together in movies like Doli Saja Ke Rakhna and Kabhi Na Kabhi. Priyadarshan said during an interview to IANS,”The events between then and till 5 p.m. when they get their result, is the story of the film. Be assured that everyone can have a hearty laugh till almost the end”.
