Sreebala Menon: It Was Difficult Saying Action, Cut to Sreenivasan

Sreebala K Menon is debuting in filmmaking with upcoming film Love 24x7. For first-timers things are difficult; Sreebala Menon reveals that the toughest part on the sets was to say action and cut to Sreenivasan. The veteran actor is playing the role of a television head in the film, which is based on a story of working women on Kerela.

Menon shared with TOI, “From childhood onwards, I have been seeing him as an exceptional actor and scriptwriter. Also, he had written the preface for my first book. You can imagine the difficulty I had in directing him and saying 'action' and 'cut'. I was standing like a student before a teacher all through”. 

Sreebala further shared that taking sudden decision was another difficulty that she faced. She said, “You have to take the final call on everything, from the casting to the music. And those decisions have to be taken fast. I don't know what the audience is expecting from me, but I have made the film with 100 per cent sincerity to my conscience”.
