Mollywood star Unni Mukundan is known for his roles in movies such as Style, Mallu Singh and KL 10 Patthu. Unnikrishnan made his debut with the Tamil movie Seedan. The actor will be next seen in the movie ‘Clint’.

The upcoming movie is helmed by Harikumar. ‘Clint’ is said to be a biopic on the genius Edmund Thomas Clint, who left behind 25.000 paintings before he died at the age of seven, due to a kidney ailment. Unni will be portraying the role of Clint’s father MT Joseph. Regarding the character, Mukundan was quoted as saying, “It's the first time I am playing a real-life character, and to be honest this role has haunted me the most. Joseph is an optimist who always looks at the bigger picture. When Clint had said he didn't want to go to school, Joseph agreed and encouraged him to pursue art and enjoy the world of colours. He gave priority to his son's wish than stick to conventions”.

The actor revealed that while portraying the character, he unknowingly developed great respect for the real life MT Joseph. The actor also revealed about his strict sugar-free diet that made his body weak. Unni ended his statement stating that  his character also allowed him to learn about his ‘Parental Instinct’.
