Vijay Moolan Fulfils His Dream With The Film 'Odu Raja Odu'

Despite spending most of his life abroad managing the family business in the Gulf, Vijay Moolan has always had the dream of being a part of films. And now, he will be fulfilling his dream on August 17 him as it marks the release of his first Tamil movie, Odu Raja Odu, as a producer.

Talking about his journey, Vijay says, "I work for my dad and draw a monthly salary. I'm very proud of the fact that it was the monthly salaries accumulated that helped me fund my first movie, as I wanted to be a producer by around the age of 30”. He further added that through the upcoming movie, he has taken his first step towards the distant dream of creating a reputed media production banner. Moreover, the comedy thriller is directed by Jathin Sanker Raj and Nishant Ravindran.

The National Award-winner Guru Somasundaram and Lakshmi Priya will be playing the lead roles in the film. Popular actors Charu Haasan, Nassar, and Simran, along with her husband Deepak will be seen in pivotal roles in the film that will narrate four parallel stories happening in one day. The movie also has five songs composed by debutant Thosh, who was a student of AR Rahman. The movie is distributed under the banner Varghese Moolan Pictures, owned by his father.
