KARTHIK SUBBURAJ, the man behind the cult movies Pizza and Jigarthanda has come up with Iraivi. Karthik has proved his potential with his earlier ones and now audience are eager to know what he has in store for us in Iraivi.

VIJAY SETHUPATHI, known for the variety in script he chooses and his performance in whatever role he chooses is playing one of the leads in Iraivi. Vijaysethupathi was seen as the lead in Karthik’s Pizza and in a guest role in Jigarthanda. The Karthik-Vijaysethupathi duo hits a hatrick with Iraivi.

SJSURYAH, one of the most talented directors in the industry has always wanted to be an actor. After few blink and miss roles in some of his directorial ones, SJSuryah’s performance in his last film ISAI was very much appreciated. He even said “ Iraivi made him an actor “. And that adds to the expectation for the film. 

BOBBY SIMHAA won the National Award for his performance in JIgarthanda which was Karthik’s directorial. After Jigarthanda, Karthik has casted Bobby as one of the leads in Iraivi. One can expect some of the best from Bobby and Karthik is the right one to bring that out. 

SANTHOSH NARAYANAN, one of the most sought after music directors in the industry. In a short span of time, Santhosh has been roped in to compose the music for the Superstar Rajinikanth’s KABALI and for Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s VIJAY60. Santhosh’s earlier collaboration with Karthik were superhits, also the songs of Iraivi are well received. Santhosh says Iraivi made an impact on him. Added, he couldn’t come out of the movie and the best movie he has ever seen in Iraivi. Never in these years Santhosh has said those words.

IRAIVI is touted to be a film that plays on the human emotions and it is for the first time that Karthik Subburaj has attempted this. The title IRAIVI clearly means Goddess which implies it is a female centric film. The tagline " Sila woMEN galin kaadhal " which means " It is the love of few women " justifies Iraivi will be a romantic cult.
