Such is the prestige attached to the award that even getting nominated is considered a career-changing thing. And winning one is an extraordinary achievement and incredible privilege. But there are few distinguished actors who won this incredible honour but not truly deserved it:

There are few who can argue that Sandra Bullock isn't a talented actress. But there also a few who will argue that she didn't deserve to win for Blind Side.

One of the greatest of all time, Al Pacino unquestionably deserves at least one Oscar. Too bad, the Academy gave him the honour when he didn't really deserve it. Robert Downey Jr. and Denzel Washington were better choices.

Like everyone, we were happy when Leo finally won the Oscar. But was it his strongest role? No, not even close.

5. Renee Zellweger
