6 Upcoming Arshad Warsi Movies That Prove That He Is Not Going Anywhere

Though it may appear to some that, like most actors who have worked at the top level, Arshad Warsi's time too has passed. Well, that judgment is not misguided. Arshad Warsi is certainly not going through the best period of his Bollywood career. But to write him off completely just yet, would be a mistake as well.

This false perception of his 'failing career' is partly because of his good work not getting recognised as much as it should have (Jolly LLB, Dedh Ishqiya). It is also partly because of him doing forgettable projects (Guddu Rangeela, The Legend Of Michael Mishra). And because of these factors, he has gone from a highly popular actor to a one that is just on the frays of many Bollywood fans' consciousness. 

But, despite this, to label the actor 'failing' is wrong. Why? you might ask. Well, for an actor who is supposedly failing, he is an amazing number of projects lined up.

Total Dhamaal

The actor is all set to return to the successful comedy series Dhamaal next year. The film will have much of its old cast and will be directed by Indra Kumar.

The movie will reportedly release in 2019.

Bhaiyyaji Superhit

This much-delayed project is finally inching closing to release. The comedy film is about a gangster's desire to become a movie star.

The movie will reportedly release in 2017.

Fraud Saiyyan

Another comedy. Another delayed release. The film will star Arshad Warsi and Sara Loren in the lead film, with Saurabh Shukla in the supporting role. The film is produced by Prakash Jha.

The film will reportedly release in 2017.

Aankhein 2

The actor will join the likes of Anil Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan for the second installment of the classic heist thriller. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film is currently under production in South Africa.

The film is set for a late 2017 release.

Golmaal Again

While the fourth installment of the mightily successful Golmaal series has been announced, the cast has not been announced in detail. But it is highly unlikely that Arshad Warsi, who has been part of the series from the start, will be dropped.

The film will reportedly release in first half of 2018.

Munnabhai 3

Yes, it is happening. The actor will return to the role that basically defined his career. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film after a wait of eleven years is finally in pre-production.

The film is expected to release in 2018.
