Baahubali 2: The Conclusion Box Office: Unimaginable Figures Shatter All Records

If you have a slight understanding of how box office functions in India, the collections of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion are likely to make your jaw drop. The SS Rajamouli directorial has shattered all box office records to create ones. While the official break up of figures is still awaited, it is reported that the film has scored well over 100 crores (all versions included) on its opening day itself.

The collections could only be described as a box office tsunami as the film ran to packed houses in all corners of the country. While it made highest earnings from Andhra/Nizam circuit, the Hindi version contributed next with earth shattering figures from all other regions. The Hindi version alone is estimated to have generated more than 40 crores (nett) which is higher than any other big Bollywood movies in the recent times. 

If anything the trends suggest, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has comfortably done a nett business of 110-120 crores on its opening day. The reports from overseas have been equally breathtaking and the film is already blockbuster there. The gross worldwide figures are looking at something around 220 crores from its opening day. Remember, this is just the BEGGINNING!
