Bigg Boss 10: Do The Contestants Regret Making Bani The Captain Of The House?

A lot of changes have taken place in the Bigg Boss house in a day. The contestants have voted  Bani to the captain of the house and it is her first day on duty. Swamji is back in the house and everyone, for a change, has household duties assigned to them. So as Bani steps into the shoes of the captain by taking an oath to be fair to all contestants, what she doesn’t know at the start of the day is how many difficult decisions she has to make.

Here are the highlights of Episode 27 -

The day that started with a surprise –While the contestants woke up to the tunes of Teri Galliyan sung by Ankit Tiwari, the singer paid a visit to the house personally. Soon after came the cast of the film Tum Bin 2, Neha Sharma, Aditya Seal and Ashim Gulati to interact with the contestants and promote their film.

Neha had a task for Lokesh, Lopa and Monalisa who had to pick a guy in the house and shake a leg with them on a romantic number from her upcoming movie. Lopa dances with Gaurav, Mona obviously picks Manu and Lokesh dances with Aditya Seal.

Swamji’s Apology – Swami Omji who feels guilty of hurting Moalisa during the task called Parda Phaash. He stoops to touch her feet begging for an apology and also asking her to convince Manu to accept his apology. While Manveer is frankly irritated with Swamji’s off and on guilt, the rest of the house is also stunned to see this happening.

The all powerful captain of the house – Bani takes an oath to be fair to all contestants and is not only allotted a bed of her own but has also been given the power to allocate bed to others. She picks from amongst her friends, Gaurav, Karan and Rahul to move next to her. This pisses off Navin and Manveer who are not allotted beds.

When Lokesh had a tiff with Monalisa and Manu – Lokesh goes to the washroom where Manu is mopping the floor. On being asked to step away from the wet floor she conveniently says that she never saw it. Later she dips her feet into the swimming pool and Manveer is cleaning it, she gets into a tiff with him as well. Bani is asked to speak to her by all these contestants.

The lavish lunch and dirty dishes – Bani is given to power to name one contestant  who she prefers to give an ‘Inam’ or reward to and two other to give ‘Dand’ or punishment to. The prize is a lavish lunch and washing the dirty dishes is a punishment. While Manu is lucky to share a lavish meal with the captain and Lopa and Manveer have to face punishment. Lopa loses her cool at Bani and say that she hates her and she knew that this would happen with her being the captain.

Rahul says to Gaurav and Karan that the prize could have been given to one of them instead of Manu. While Manveer talks to bani about taking unfair decisions to which she says that they will all egt to know how difficult it is when they are in her place.

Manu talks to Lokesh – Manu tries to talk to Lokesh of the change in their relationship. He says that they were very happy together as brother and sister and now they are fighting all the while. He assures her that will be there for her and that he wants to resolve the differences but Lokesh pays no heed to what he has to say.

Jail Time – As the day is coming to an end Bani has another tough callto make on the orders of Bigg Boss. She has to punish two inmates by sending them to jail. She names Manu and Omji for jail time. Manu wonders what he did suddenly to deserve this as he was rewarded with a lunch and is now being sent to jail. He later in the night steps out of jail on the pretext that the washrooms are dirty in there.

The day comes to an end, but for Bani it was just one difficult day in an entire week of captaincy. How she fares through the rest of it is yet to be seen.
