Age-gap is a criticism that most film industries face--and Bollywood is no exception. The difference between the age of actors and actresses appearing for the same project has, at instances, been appauling. Actresses, who bear the brunt of this regressive norm, are often cast opposite actors who are way older than their age.

Though the severity of this norm -- this issue -- varies from film to film, it still persists in film industries, including Bollywood

So, on that note, we did some investigation and found out how the top actors of Bollywood:

Salman Khan's smallest age difference was in fact in his first film opposite Bhagyashree (4 years) and his biggest was opposite Sonam Kapoor in Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo: 20 years!!!

Aamir Khan's smallest age difference was opposite Pooja (9 years), while his biggest was opposite Anushka Sharm in PK with 23 years between the two stars.

Akshay Kumar's smallest age difference was opposite Raveena Tandon (6 years) in Main Anari Tu Khiladi, and his biggest was opposite Amy Jackson in Singh is Bling: 20 years.

Saif Ali Khan's smallest age gap was opposite Rajeshwari (6 years) and his biggest was opposite Illeana D'Cruz in Happy Ending: 20 years.

Ajay Devgn's smallest age difference was opposite Karisma Kapoor (5 years) in Jigar, and his biggest was opposite Tamannah Bhatia in Himmatwala (19 years).
