Bollywood and Indian TV have always been co dependant and there has been a whole lot of transfer of talents from one industry to the other. Many TV actors have worked miracles in Bollywood and there are so many Bollywood actors who took to TV shows to either take a break from films or after they did not do well in Bollywood. There have also been a lot of Bollywood celebrities who turned producers for TV shows and expanded their horizons. Ajay Devgn - Devi

Little do people know that Ajay had produced Sakshi Tanwar starrer show Devi.

Aamir Khan – Stayamev Jayate – The actor sort of launched a popular social awareness program through this TV show that highlighted the real life social heroes and addressed some major issues facing the Indian society. The first season of Stayamev Jayate came in 2012 and got instant audience attention, followed by a second season that came in 2014.

Anil Kapoor – 24 – After earning a lot of international acclaim for his work, Anil Kapoor brought to Indian TV the American crime thriller series 24. He played the lead himself and it was the first time a popular bollywood actor played a lead in a TV show. The show has had a second season for the super successful first season.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali – Saraswatichandra  - The ace Bollywood director after having floored the audiences with his films like Black, Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ramleela, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam turned to TV and produced the TV show Saraswatichandra in 2013. The show was a tragic love story which starred Jennifer Winget and Gautam Rode in the lead and was a massive success.

Salman Khan - Salman has definitely developed an affinity towards wrestling after his 2016 blockbuster sultan and will now producer a TV show based on life of the great wrestler Gama Pehalwan! The actor wanted to make a film on the him but the project never materialized and now it will be a TV show.
