Box Office Report: Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil Is Slowly Catching Up With Shah Rukh Khan's Raees

As you must know by now, Shah Rukh Khan's Raees, after several delays, opened with Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil at the Box Office. And it was the SRK film that opened big in this big box office clash.

And, in the weekend too, the film continued to earn big bucks, bringing the total of the film close to the Rs 100 crore landmark figure. This was confirmed by leading trade analyst, Taran Adarsh.

And Kaabil, which starred Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam, did fairly well in the 5-day run, as confirmed by trade analyst Joginder Tuteja.

Like pointed out before, while this may be a result of SRK's stardom, it can also be an effect of the failure of Hrithik Roshan's Mohenjo Daro. However, as pointed by trade analyst Komal Nahta, it might have something to do with the number of screens both the films have.

Now it is crucial how both the movies perform in the weekdays.
