The film, which is scheduled to release on November 25, can become the victim of the state of country's mood.

As we all know since the Uri Attacks, Bollywood has gone under an immediate upheaval. Popular Pakistani actors, who had made quite a name for themselves in India, were instantly shunned. The most popular example of that is Karan Johar, who is currently battling critics for his upcoming film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

Which brings our attention to Dear Zindagi, which also stars a Pakistani actor in the form of Ali Zafar. Though, like Fawad Khan in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, the Pakistani actor will also have a small role, it can cause serious trouble for the film's producers nonetheless.

The trouble is further compounded by the fact that this is SRK's second film after Raees that will attracts critics because of a Pakistani actor in it. Though Raees's release, which stars Mahira Khan, has been exempted as per some reports, Dear Zindagi has been largely ignored so far.

Because of this, there are reports swirling around the internet that Ali Zafar might not feature in any promotional campaigns of the film for the fear of excessive backlash. Also, it has been reported that sources close to Ali Zafar have told press: "These are unfortunate circumstances. He has no option but to make peace with it."
