Guess How Akshay Kumar Celebrated His National Award Win!

Akshay Kumar was recently in the Capital for the launch of his app for the families of martyred soldiers. And he also did something else. Well, he celebrated the announcement of his National Award by doing something that he loves most after acting. Well, we are talking about sports. He decided to visit the farmhouse of his very close friend, Rahul Sharma, who is also actress Asin’s husband and played a game of cricket with his friends and their kids there.

That is not all. Actress Esha Gupta, who was also a part of the film Rustom for which Akshay won the Award, also dropped by to congratulate it. Well Esha also happened to be in Delhi to visit her parents.

Desimartini has also learnt from a close source that his friends surprised him with a cake! The source said, "Everyone was thrilled about Akshay having won the national award. He usually plays cricket at Rahul and Asin's farmhouse each time he visits Delhi, but this time it was special because of the honour accorded to him. Akshay, Esha, Rahul and their bunch of friends played dumb charades after cricket, and celebrated the evening".

Wow that sounds like some fun. Akshay Kumar is currently in Singapore for a special appearance in salman Khan’s Da Bang Tour. He will receive his National Award from the President of India in the first week of May.
