These Two Actors Turned Down Diljit Dosanjh's Role In Udta Punjab

Punjabi actor and singer, Diljit Dosanjh is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Abhishek Chaubey's Udta Punjab. The actor plays the role of a policeman, Sartaj Singh who will be romancing Kareena Kapoor Khan.

But what we all don't know is that the actor was not the first choice for the movie. According to reports, there were two actors who were first approached to play Diljit's role in the movie. 

Well, the first choice for the role was Ayushman Khurana. The actor could not take up the role because Kareena Kapoor, who is part of the movie did not want to share the screen with him.

Later, Fawad Khan was approached to replace Ayushman Khurana, who again turned down the movie because he felt that he and Kareena would not make a good onscreen couple. Kareena might look older to him and this might impact his image.

Finally, after all the chaos Diljit Dosanjh was approached and by the looks of the trailer, the actor seems to do justice as Sartaj Singh in Udta Punjab
