WATCH: Shraddha Kapoor Looks Good But Sounds Unconvincing As Dawood Ibrahim's Sister In Haseena Parkar Teaser!

Shraddha Kapoor is one of those stars who has heavily been typecast in Bollywood. Ever since her movie Aashiqui 2 released, we have seen Shraddha as the girl who’s head over in love. We have seen her sing, dance in the rain and romance actors. There have been very few movies that has explored her versatility or given her scope to experiment with something new.

But it looks like the chance might finally be here in 2017. For the first time after ‘Haider’, Shraddha has full-fledged screen space to prove her mettle. She will be playing the notorious ‘godmother’ Haseena Parkar in the movie with the same title, the teaser of which released today!

The teaser focuses on how she took to crime. It roughly shows how her husband Ismail Parkar was shot by the Arun Gawli gang (incidentally, Arun Gawli’s biopic is also releasing this year and has Arjun Rampal in the lead) and how she became the Godmother with 88 cases on her name.

 The entire teaser has just one dialogue from Shraddha and while she looks good as Haseena Parkar, she sounds really unconvincing when mouthing the dialogue.

The teaser also gives us a glimpse of Siddhant Kapoor, who is playing underworld don and Haseena’s brother, Dawood Ibrahim, in the film. His resembles father Shakti Kapoor a lot and he looks ok in the 2 secs frame he appears in!
