Jolly LL.B 2 New Song: Jolly Good Fellow Is Akshay And Huma's Unintentional Sanskari Ode To Alok Nath!

Bollywood has an entire series of unintentionally funny songs so Jolly LL.B 2’s title track, Jolly good fellow can just be considered a recent addition to the list. We have heard so many bhajans steal Bollywood music to make their religious versions more peppy and catchy and Jolly good fellow seems to be taking queue from that only this time it is running a popular nursery rhyme!

Everything’s quiet ok with the song, there’s color, some lively music, celebrations and dance and then comes the punch line of the song and Kanhiya Lal pops in from somewhere into the song and you lose sense of what’s going on!!

Akshay has this sanskari swagger in the song that seems totally put on and an unintended ode to Alok Nath!

By the time you wrap your heads around the sanskari, Jai Kaniya Lal Ki vibe of the song, THIS happens!

All you can do is sit confused if that shot was intentionally put in the song to break the sanskari image or it’s plane simple irony to see the actor not subtly undressing the actress in the middle of the street and then being called a Jolly Good Fellow and going all sanskari!!

Apart from the unintentionally funny bit, the song has loads of colors and a good vibe but is somehow difficult to shove down our throats!!
