Twitter Trolls KRK For Mocking Mohanlal By Calling Him 'Chota Bheem'!

At a time when Twitter is abuzz with Sonu Nigam’s antics, Kamaal Rashid Khan is doing all he can to reclaim his lost crown of internet notoriety.

His target on this occasion is Malayalam actor Mohanlal, who is all set to play the mighty Bhim in the movie adaptation of Jnanpeeth award winner MT Vasudevan Nair’s novel Randamoozham. Mohanlal will play the second Pandava in what is expected to be the most expensive Indian film ever made, with a massive budget of Rs 1,000 crore.

“Sir @Mohanlal you look like Chota Bheem so then how will u play role of Bheem in Mahabharata? Why do you want to waste money of BR Shetty?” KRK tweeted on Wednesday. Before the Bollywood actor knew it, he was being trolled by hordes of Mohanlal fans.

Most responses came in the form of Malayalam expletives that cannot be reproduced on this website for obvious reasons. Others were phrased better, but equally scathing.

Kiran Ragh shared a video of the veteran actor, with a caption that stated: “I’m proud of Mohanlal, Mammootty and all actors of the Malayalam industry. The reason why he’s cast in this film? Watch this video.”

Another Mohanlal fan (@njanmaanthrikan) had this to say in Hindi: “Apna shakal dekha he kabhi aayne mein?? Pehle vo kar… uske bad doosron par ungli uthana… Mohanlal sir tho hamara pride hain. (Look at yourself in the mirror before criticising others. Mohanlal sir is our pride.”

Another person hit back, saying: “If you don’t know who Lal’ettan is, come and ask Malayalis. We will tell you who Lal’ettan is!!”

However, not everybody was willing to take KRK seriously. “What is all this? Just leave it, kids!” said a casual observer.

    ഇതൊക്കെ എന്ത്... വിട്ടേരെ പിള്ളാരെ?

Randamoozham will be directed by noted ad man and advertising filmmaker VA Shrikumar Menon. Produced in two parts, it will go on the floors by September 2018.
